The curse of doing good work is that you get asked to do more work.

I’m not saying it’s a bad thing.

I’m just acknowledging that it happens.

And it happens a lot…to those who do good work.

It’s not that the people who are asking you to do more are being deceitful or manipulative.

It’s that building trust and creating value has ramifications.

Early in your career it felt like a signal of progress.

But what does is signal now?

I question things on occasion. To make sure I’m not just going through the motions.
